I purchased this Deluxe Cook V-Blade Mandoline Slicer for review. Anyone who knows me knows that I am terrible at slicing veggies. It takes me forever and I am not very good at it. My husband is the cook of our house and so I often contribute with my terrible cutting skills. Using this mandoline was awesome. It comes with 4 attachments for different slicing size and type. I used it to slice onions and cucumbers. The next time I use it I'm going to slice potatoes for homemade french fries.

With the 4 attachments comes a case to hold those attachments and the cutting board. This set is very sturdy and durable. I love that it is dishwasher safe. Having a busy house it's convenient to throw it in the dishwasher with the rest of the dishes.

The other part I liked about this set is the attachment for the veggies. You can use this to push the veggies across the cutting board to protect your hands and fingers from getting cut. I'm a big klutz and this is great for me. I also let my 9 year old daughter help cut veggies using this attachment.

The last thing I liked was how fast and easy it made cutting the veggies. It took me less than 30 seconds to slice my onion and it did so perfectly. The only con I found was with the tomato. It could have been the tomato I used, maybe the skin was too tough or I should have cut it in half first and then sliced it. Either way I would absolutely recommend this product.
